Dr. John Aloizos has been chairman of the Best Doctors Australasia Medical Advisory Board since 2009. He is an advocate for patient safety, quality improvement and equity of access in healthcare. Dr. Aloizos has been an active general practitioner since 1977 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. On Australia Day in 2003, he was honoured as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia by the Australian Government for services to medicine, particularly medical administration, and the Australian Divisions of General Practice. His current roles also include: Australian Digital Health Agency – Senior Clinical Reference Lead, Heart Foundation Cardiovascular Health Advisory Committee, and Honorary Member NPS MedicineWise.

Dr. John Mayhew migrated from England to New Zealand in the 1950s were he has gone on to have an outstanding professional career with a focus on sport medicine. He is a member of the NZ Rugby League Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Mayhew and is the Team Doctor of the New Zealand Warriors NRL. He also runs a sports medicine practice at Auckland’s Millennium Institute and has been Clinical Director at Sovereign Insurance since 2004. In addition, he was Team Doctor and Medical Advisor for the prestigious rugby team All Black NZRFU.

Professor Quak Seng Hock is currently Professor of Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and an Emeritus Consultant at the Department of Paediatrics, University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital (NUH).  He also heads the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is the senior paediatric hepatologist of the Paediatric Liver Transplant Programme at NUH. Professor Quak Seng Hock was a founding member of the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health, UK and Doctor of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 1997. He was also the Founder President of the College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Singapore.

Dr. Corazon A Ngelangel is the President of the Philippine Cancer Society and Director of the Asian Cancer Institute-Asian Hospital and Medical Centre among other responsibilities. She heads the Medical Oncology Section within the Department of Medicine for Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Centre; had been the Chief of the Medical Oncology Section of the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine, and Philippine General Hospital for 25 years. Dr. Ngelangel has authored numerous articles on cancer and related oncology topics in local and international medical journals. She is a member of several medical societies and study groups, including interest groups for Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer, Quality of Life and Economic Costs of Cancer.

Dr. Yeo Seng Jin completed a fellowship in Constructive Joint Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, USA and returned to practice at the Adult Reconstruction Service of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, SGH. A/Prof Yeo was appointed Clinical Lecturer by the National University of Singapore. He participates in the teaching and training of medical students undergoing surgical posting during their undergraduate training. In addition, he was appointed to be a reviewer for Singapore Medical Journal and Annals of Academy of Medicine. A/Prof Yeo and his team had been instrumental in making SGH one of the leading centers in the Asia-Pacific region for joint replacement surgery. He is also a design consultant for DePuy CAS Preservation Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty and was appointed as Clinical Evaluator for PFC Sigma High Performance TKA Instrumentation and Computer Assisted TKA Software Ci Ver. 2.0. Most recently, Dr. Yeo Seng Jin was appointed as Chairman for Trusted Knee Workshop.

Dr. Pavin Amin is a physician and intensivist in Critical Care Medicine at Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre in Mumbai. He is also a consultant in Critical Care Medicine within The Breach Candy Hospital. He heads the Department of Critical Care Program at the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences in Mumbai. In addition, Dr. Amin has held the position of President of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He also a current member/fellow of several prestigious medical and civic organizations such as Fellowship of American College of Critical Care Medicine, Indian Society of Parental & Enteral Nutrition, Editorial Board of Nutrition – New York,  Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine, Editorial Board of Critical and Care Shock – Indonesia and Chairperson of Guidelines Committee of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine for formulation of Intensive Care Guidelines for the standards of ICUs in India. He is the author/co-author of more than 20 original international and local publications mainly on Clinical Nutrition, Critical Care, Medicine and Illness, Intensive Care Units matters.

Dr. Krishna is currently heading the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban in Malaysia. Having worked at various levels before reaching a consultant status, he is registered to practice in not only Malaysia but United Kingdom as well. Most recently, he was appointed as the President for both Malaysian Medical Association (“MMA”) and Obstetricial & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (“OGSM”) where he is able to provide invaluable thought leadership in both roles. Dr. Krishna has published numerous free paper productions, guidelines and publications. He is also the Honorary lecturer for International Medical University and Melaka Manipal University, trainer in undergraduate, postgraduate, subspecialty and international trainer for Life Saving Skills for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in United Kingdom. Dr. Krishna has also been involved in many other committees such as SCHOMOS, National Council, Malaysian Society for Quality in Health, Managed Care Organizations Committee, Computerization of MMA Services and Advisory Committee for CME On-line, Curriculum Committee in the Ministry of Health, Committee of “Restructuring of Public Health Sector” under the National Economic Consultative Committee over the course of his medical career.
